A Smart Padlock that you can control from your phone or via the number pad.

During CES over the past years I have been seeing more and more companies coming out with smart locks. I had a chance to try out the "Smart Padlock" from igloohome and the first thing I noticed was that it does not use biometrics to unlock (it has a number pad), second thing is that it is heavy. Less than 5 pounds, but more than a lot of locks on the market today. I would have a lot of confidence to use this lock on things like storage lockers or my bike. The secure back battery cover on the lock gives me extra confidence that no one will tamper with the device nor remove the battery. That added piece of security is a nice touch. The convergence between the "Smart Padlock" and the igloohome app is also worth taking note of.
